After the fall of Saddam Hussein, a former Iraqi police inspector, Muhsin Al Khafaji, faces an impossible situation. His estranged elder daughter goes missing, leaving him in conflict of what he is willing to give up to get her back.
Baghdad 2003. After his daughter Sawsan goes missing, Muhsin Al Khafaji, an ex-Iraqi police inspector, does all he can to find her.
Khafaji is called to his first crime scene, only to uncover a bigger conspiracy that might being him closer to his missing daughter.
Khafaji seeks out Zubeidam demanding to know the truth about Zahra, where he finds way more than what he bargained for.
Parodi enlists Mrouj's help, and then threatens Khafaji to keep her as a prisoner, until he brings him Sawsan.
Khafaji is released to search for the 3rd girl, and Zubeida is waiting to take him to Sawsan.
Parodi tasks Khafaji to find Zubeida, but Khafaji defies him. Sawsan is taken hostage by Temple, who is willing to exchange her for his money.
