A girl born and bred in Toronto, going through her Pakistani father’s belongings finds 3 letters from her grandfather to her father. In those letters, she finds her grandfather talking about their life in Lahore, trying to instill nostalgia in hopes that his son might come back one day. After reading those letters, she decides to travel to Lahore to see for herself. But soon discovers that the Lahore she finds awaiting her is not the Lahore that once her grandfather resided in.
