Lawrence Jamieson is a con artist who resides in the luxurious coastal resort. He is peacefully enjoying the fruits of deception until a new rival, Freddy Benson, comes in town and challenges his ways. Striving to get him out of his way and confident of his own tactics, Jamieson challenges Benson and the two indulge in a challenge where the winner will stay and the loser will have to leave the town.
