Plenty of laughs and melodrama abound when three drag artists jump into an old lavender bus named Priscilla and head to the Australian outback. Mitzy, Felicia and Bernadette are lip-synching performers who are serious about their careers and personal lives and decide to put on a show in a town set deep into the desert. The trio heads west from Sydney and encounter off-the-wall characters and tense situations calling the performers' lifestyles into question. Outrageous costumes and touching moments have made this cult blockbuster road movie one of Australia's most adored box office hits.
