Disappointment

The main character falls in love with a girl who lives in the opposite house. He sees her holding a cat and a few days later finds the same cat on the street. Disappointed, he brings it home and just when her image of perfection was beginning to fade in his eyes, he sees her holding a similar cat in her arms. That is when the main character realizes that there has been a misunderstanding and there actually were two cats.
